This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Presidentializer uses and how you can control them. No non-essential cookie or storage access happens before you consent to it.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which this policy covers too.
Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
Required for the site to function. These are set without consent because the service cannot be provided without them, and they are exempt under ePrivacy rules.
- cc_cookie: stores your cookie consent choices (1 year)
- sb-*-auth-token: Supabase session cookies that keep you signed in if you have an account. Cleared when you sign out.
- theme (local storage): remembers your light/dark preference so the page does not flash on load. Never leaves your browser.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: sets short-lived storage on the sign-in and checkout forms to tell humans from bots. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Analytics (opt-in)
Used to measure site traffic and Core Web Vitals performance metrics. No analytics cookies are set unless you accept them.
- Google Analytics: tracks page views, sessions, and interactions with the converter (such as how many words were submitted and whether the request succeeded) via the
_ga,_gid, and_gatcookies (up to 2 years). We never send the text you type. Data is sent to Google servers in the United States under Google's Privacy Policy. These cookies are automatically cleared if you withdraw consent.
We use Google Consent Mode. Before you make a choice, and if you decline, Google's tag is present but stores nothing on your device and reads no identifiers; it may send anonymous, cookieless signals that cannot be linked back to you or to a returning visit. Cookies, identifiers, and full measurement begin only once you accept. - Vercel Speed Insights: measures Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP). No personal identifiers are stored. Third-Party Cookies
Stripe sets cookies when you reach the payment page, for fraud prevention and to operate checkout. These are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy. Checkout is hosted on Stripe's own domain and is only reached once you choose to buy credits.
Technologies We Do Not Use
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, cross-site trackers, session replay, fingerprinting, or social media pixels. Our error monitoring (Sentry) sets no cookies and is configured not to collect IP addresses, request bodies, cookies, or session replays.
Managing Your Preferences
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time (it is exactly as easy as giving consent) by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer of any page on this site, including this one. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further collection and clears the analytics cookies already set. You can also clear cookies via your browser settings, though this resets your preferences and you will be asked again.
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing where applicable law requires it. We do not sell or share personal information in any case.
